A clinic for neuromuscular diseases

The clinic combines multidisciplinary treatment and offers a unique comprehensive service for patients with OPMD that includes:

  • Neurology and Neuro-genetics:

    Dr. Amir Dori , a specialist in neuromuscular diseases, director of the Neuromuscular Clinic – in charge of clinical diagnosis and management of multidisciplinary treatment;

    Merav Ben-David, MD, specialist in neurology and neuromuscular diseases - – in charge of clinical diagnosis and management of multidisciplinary treatment;

    Lior Greenbaum, MD, PhD, a specialist in neurology and clinical genetics with a focus on neuromuscular diseases – in charge of genetic clinical counseling and molecular diagnosis;

  • Rehabilitation of dysphagia (swallowing disorder):

    Dr. Alon Eran , Director of the ENT Department and an expert in swallowing disorders;

    Limor Benyamini-Ben-Yaish, MD, MSc, a specialist in ENT-surgery, dysphagia and dysphonia;

    Goni Broid - a specialist in speech therapy – in charge of instructive training for maintaining head and neck muscle strength and training for choking prevention while eating;

    Tony Brodesky - a specialist in speech therapy – in charge of instructive training for maintaining head and neck muscle strength and training for choking prevention while eating;

    Weiner Dana, MSc, Director of the Department of Nutrition – in charge of nutrition counseling and guidance.

  • Ophthalmology

    Guy Ben Simon, MD. Specialist in Ophthalmology and Blepharoplasty, Director of the Institute of Oculo-Plastic Surgery– in charge of the assessment and treatment of eyelid ptosis;
